The "MY 2027 LIVE COMEDY TOUR DATES ARE OUT NOW" Episode

00:00:04: Hey everybody and welcome back to a brand new episode of artsy fartsie immigrants.

00:00:09: I am so excited To tell you that the royal highness comedy tour of twenty-twenty seven is officially announced.

00:00:36: That's right.

00:00:37: I will be back in Live format, i will be performing on the stage In a city near you hopefully.

00:00:46: So if you have not gotten your tickets yet, make sure to get your ticket because some of the cities sold out last year and I'm grateful for that.

00:00:55: But i've had complaints this years in other shows about people saying they wanted me go see them here or there.

00:01:02: but well... Here is an opportunity to be in the early boat!

00:01:08: to be in the first round, so go get your tickets now.

00:01:10: It is yes I know it's cringey to say but holiday season is creeping up!

00:01:16: So be sure to get tickets for you or for your loved ones because if they like me and some capacity then Um, I just performed at the Cologne Comedy Festival and i'm gonna get into that in a little bit.

00:01:31: but One very nice man came up to me.

00:01:33: And told Me That he likes my stuff so much that as A birthday gift To him back In may Or yeah a few months ago?

00:01:42: I guess in May um that The ticket to My show when cologne was his Birthday Gift from His friends and that's such a cool feeling.

00:01:52: Someone liked my stuff enough that his friends knew that about him and looked to my stuff.

00:01:58: My tour dates up.

00:01:59: it got him a ticket for her birthday present.

00:02:02: So if you are someone, you know also would love to see me live.

00:02:06: holiday season is coming Up so get your tickets now before they're gone because They will be selling through the holidays.

00:02:13: And Might Be Gone You Know by The New Year.

00:02:17: Let's hope That They're Gone Because That Means It's A Successful Tour but Make sure that you get in there early so that you don't miss your chance.

00:02:29: on March, thirty first twenty-twenty seven I will be performing in Hamburg at the Fabrik.

00:02:37: then April First i Will Be In Berlin and Berlin At The Teata Im Delphi.

00:02:44: On April Second I'll Be In Mannheim at the Jugendkulturzentrum for Mannheim The Jugendkulturzentrumforum.

00:02:55: On the third, I will be in Frankfurt am Main at the Jahrhunderthalle...I believe i did that one last year In Stuttgart.

00:03:07: on April fifth in Wiesemann studio!

00:03:11: On the sixth, I'll be in Nürnberg at Z-Bau.

00:03:18: on the tenth here in Munich at the Tonhalle.

00:03:25: So, The Munich is a double show on the tenth.

00:03:28: A six p.m.. Show and a nine o'clock show And then on the sixteenth I will go back to Vienna At the WUK?

00:03:39: i don't know if that's the Wuck or the...the Wuck Or the...or the...Doppelvau-Uka I'm not sure.

00:03:49: double-ah, double V. Double V. Ouka.

00:03:51: Double v. Oka!

00:03:53: That sounds like tribal language like... Then uh I moved the microphone here.

00:04:00: i think i'm..i can hear myself like puffing and puh-puh-puffing into it.

00:04:04: um seventeenth i will go to Innsbruck which i unfortunately was not able to go to last year because i thought my appendix was exploding and i was trapped in a hospital for twenty four hours.

00:04:16: I will be there at the Maria Terezia and then ending the show once again in Zurich, in Zurick.

00:04:23: At the Plaza.

00:04:25: So be sure to get your tickets now.

00:04:54: Everything has To Go In Steps You Know Like.

00:04:56: If These Tours Sell Well i Can Add More Cities!

00:05:01: You Know Its Just...I just have to start in more major cities that i know are Going to work better, you know like on this tour.

00:05:14: I don't have cologne because i just did cologne at the comedy festival and It might be too close.

00:05:23: And also a think last year The cologne show was good but it didn't sell out.

00:05:28: so its looking more about what cities do good what cities seem to like it and want a return And each tour has gotten a little bit bigger.

00:05:39: You know, I think...I don't remember if I had Stuttgart on the last tour?

00:05:42: I don't think so.

00:05:44: So you we didn't have Monheim We didn't Have.

00:05:48: Did we have Monhain last year?

00:05:50: I Don't Think so!

00:05:51: I Know he Had Hamburg & Berlin and Munich Vienna, Innsbruck and Zurich for sure.

00:05:58: But I don't think... Oh!

00:05:59: And i think we had Frankfurt.

00:06:00: yeah We also had Frankfurt but i don't Think we Had Mannheim und Stuttgart in Nuremberg?

00:06:04: I Don't think so.

00:06:06: Maybe we had Nurembach.

00:06:07: it's very Yeah.

00:06:08: It feels like a Very long time ago and in A sense it was um but the yes called The Royal Highness comedy tour.

00:06:15: I thought that'd be a nice twist on it because last year's Tour Was the Prince of Germany and I liked That theme.

00:06:20: still if Keeping it sort Of you know Royal based you know Jordan Prince and Yeah, I'm very.

00:06:28: I'm grateful to Fenya my booking agent from Kastanyaka for setting everything up.

00:07:39: i have a whole new show that's almost completely done...i was hashing out a lot of the new material at The American Military shows which i talked about in the last episode and then also changed a few things around for the Cologne Comedy Festival.

00:07:55: so..I'll tell you it a bit about that.

00:07:57: That Was A Very Fast Fast like experience.

00:08:01: I felt like i was looking forward to The Cologne Comedy Festival for a long time.

00:08:06: and then it's always liked that where you build It up in your head, And You are Looking Forward To the Job?

00:08:11: And You Kind of Get Nervous and Your Thinking About The set and Running all the Jokes Everything In Your Head A Lot and Then You get Like You Get on That Train and Go All the Way There and Then you know Check-In at the Hotel go to the venue And everything's just, it's very German.

00:08:30: so everything is very efficient.

00:08:31: It's like hello.

00:08:32: how are you?

00:08:33: Nice to meet you.

00:08:33: here's the stage check your mic.

00:08:34: Here's How The Lights Will Be.

00:08:35: Are You Comfortable?

00:08:36: Okay cool!

00:08:37: Here's a bottle of water and heres' backstage We'll see ya later.

00:08:40: Then that was all done.

00:08:41: So then I went got coffee and getting some food Met up with my booking agent Fenya.

00:08:49: That Was nice.

00:08:50: we had a chat Backstage Had Some Food Talked A Little Bit And suddenly it was five minutes before showtime.

00:09:00: I went behind the curtain.

00:09:01: Thankfully, The Show did fill out.

00:09:05: Um i think the room Was relatively small maybe like eighty people and at first um It wasn't looking Like it was gonna sell more than like a little over halfway Which-I also didn't feel very bad about... ...I thought well you know its cologne.. ..and I don't have an enormous audience there You know, of course I would have hoped that more people would've bought tickets for it.

00:09:26: But its also you know...I get it and It's not the main tour.

00:09:31: so Its okay if a few these shows are like exercising new jokes but by time i got behind the curtain ready to perform The whole room was full.

00:09:40: So I'm really happy with that.

00:09:44: One little suggestion from the venue though is Have intro music please?

00:09:49: For the performers!

00:09:50: I was behind the curtains And then lights went off And the room got quiet and it was like, okay.

00:09:59: You know that feeling of like that buzz in a room if something's gonna start right now?

00:10:03: Then I'm looking at this sound person as i open my curtain.

00:10:14: My expectation is there going to be.

00:10:20: That's the John Cena song You know, you just think there's gonna be some like Something nothing dead silence.

00:10:34: Dead silence dead silence.

00:10:37: I Walked out and it was so quiet that my nervous brain could not help But to say I swear God this is true.

00:10:46: I opened a curtain And it's like a short walk to the stage and everyone is looking at the microphone, there was no sound.

00:10:53: You could hear my footsteps!

00:10:55: I just went intro music!

00:10:59: Like i yelled that out to the crowd!

00:11:03: God... It was really embarrassing of way start but in end this show went pretty well.

00:11:14: This is something I noticed on the last tour as well when i played different cities and different crowds.

00:11:18: It's like which jokes work really well in some places, In Which Jokes Don't?

00:11:25: And vice versa Like when certain stories or certain bits are certain little you know things that get to.

00:11:31: um let's say Work Really Well at one of the military shows.

00:11:35: but then it might do it in cologne and its...like a few chuckles Or Something.

00:11:40: You know, people just have a different way of thinking.

00:11:43: They might hear something a little... they might just hear something in a different Way like as if it's leading up to something is opposed to being more of the punchline.

00:11:53: So it was interesting so to hear that reaction and go.

00:11:57: okay I need this to be stronger and more.

00:11:59: you know discernible More like more clear less maybe story telling style but Can?

00:12:06: it can still be a story, but more jokey.

00:12:08: More just structured differently But the show went really well.

00:12:13: and then Like I was saying before about it being fast The show is like a forty five minute Show or forty minutes?

00:12:19: And then It Was Just over and Then they you know i took some photos and talk to A few people who were there.

00:12:27: an old colleague of mine from a cafe i worked at Eight years ago was there and that was really crazy.

00:12:36: That was a crazy coincidence.

00:12:37: I had this text message like hey Jordan, what a wild surprise.

00:12:39: Don't know if you remember me but we worked together at this cafe eight years ago.

00:12:44: And now i'm living near Cologne.

00:12:49: One free raffle one two tickets to your show tonight.

00:12:53: She has no idea of doing comedy.

00:12:55: she didn't even knew anything about it.

00:12:58: So yeah did the show and then just like walked back to my hotel room.

00:13:03: And had some greasy food, went to sleep I have really weird sleep from the greasy food...and was immediately gone!

00:13:11: The whole thing happens very fast but thank you to Cologne into the Comedy Festival for having me.

00:13:17: that is a lot of fun.

00:13:19: Yeah i'm just very excited about this tour and thankful Handful of shows that I did where i was able to hash out some of this newer material and see what things will stick, And What Things I Will Get Rid Of.

00:13:33: so for those who have seen me at the military shows or in cologne recently?

00:13:38: You're worried That if you were To get a ticket.

00:13:40: You would hear A lot of The same show again.

00:13:44: that won't be the case If anything Would by any chance be something that you would recognize after seeing it one time?

00:13:53: There's only gonna Be a handful of things I think and they will sound different because They will have to be rehashed, and adjusted And tweaked.

00:14:00: Just made better.

00:14:02: That is also Something i like about being on the road.

00:14:04: Is... By The fourth show or something The material It just naturally so much stronger and cleaner and tighter ...and more As the Germans would say more efficient.

00:14:19: But yeah, I'm very very excited for that and I wanted to again.

00:14:24: Yeah just thank you guys for making this possible.

00:14:28: I don't have a ton of time today And I know I haven't done a podcast in awhile but I will have to wrap This up soon, but I just wanted to say something about the tour.
