Tenet and the Paradox of Beer or Wine

Tenet and the Paradox of Beer or Wine

Moe and Jordan deliver a lenghty episode today as they sip red wine and discuss the new Christopher Nolan film Tenet, along with the new conflicting alcohol laws in Bavaria, time travel, and the best movie franchises ever - all leading up to a very funny but challenging game of "Would You Rather?" The boys dive deep and try to examine both sides of the argument given, opening up interesting views of morality and the human experience. Crack open a bottle of your favorite drink and enjoy!

Me and the Rest of My Heathens

Moe and Jordan are back from vacation, sunburned, and ready to talk about everyone's favorite subject: Nudity. Being naked in Europe is more common than you might think, and the boys have some great stories about this. Topics include - the bold Nude Flute Man of Freibergsee, Jordan's first experience in a German sauna, and how jumping naked in the snow is considered normal. Jordan has also begun a new project writing about his past and is currently taking cover song suggestions on Instagram - @jordanprince

When There's Somethin' Strange, in the Neighborhood...

Well the boys are back this week and have broken into someone's apartment for the sake of the show! It must go on, as they say. And this week is full of interesting topics such as: the history of the whole(??) world, American Social classes, washing clothes on foreign soil, small town scandals, woke-ism in the outskirts, and learning from our countries' pasts.

Rowdy Ramblin’ Randy Barks into the Dark Abyss

Jordan is flying solo this week and has a lot to talk about: from last week’s great interview with Meiko, to a myriad of issues he has with Germany’s bicyclists and their lack of rules, to finally obtaining a driver’s license in Munich. He also touches on what this last job has meant for him, and what is coming for him in the near future.

Meiko: the Return of the Artsy Guest

American musician Meiko (now living in Hamburg) skypes Jordan and Moe to talk about her experiences with Conan O’Brien, Jay Leno, and having hugely popular tracks in major shows like Grey’s Anatomy and One Tree Hill. She also opens up about the sensation of being an immigrant in a new land, the struggles and expenses of today’s America, and how she wants to show the world she’s grown as an artist and a mother.

Together Again: The Jumbo Special

In this extra-long episode, Moe and Jordan record together in the same room for the first time in 17 long weeks. To celebrate this and the almost-anniversary of the show’s first episode, the boys have a few drinks and cover a wide array of topics. From silly to serious, this episode might be your favorite. Special update: next week, the boys will have their first guest call since Corona began!

It’s All About Who You Know

Today Moe and Jordan talk about being on live TV in Hamburg, getting a big feature on Bayern 3, and how things come full circle. You meet someone, and years later it comes to great benefit. How does this happen and why is it so common as you get older? They also discuss the act of miscommunication and how middlemen and language perpetuate it. Jordan tells a story about one of the best and one of the worst concerts he’s ever played, and they top it off with a chat about German prostitution and some good old fashioned jokes.

Radio: The Last Man Standing

Today Moe and Jordan catch up on which major German radio stations Jordan’s song “The Crooked Rail” has been played on so far! They also celebrate the release of the film “Easy Does It” (available worldwide later this year), the prediction of radio’s survival, Space Force, and after figuring out if Paris is the most predictable place an American can travel to, they also touch on the abundance and subtlety of European racism.
